All our equipment is packed into our vehicles and the hurtigruten ship Polarlys is calling at Risøyhavn ready to take us on our two-day voyage back home to Trondheim. This is when Jammertest really, officially ends for us.
All of you are what makes the Jammertest into the unique event that it is. The low key, collegial, engineer-to-engineer cooperation at Jammertest is truly amazing to see. Together, we have all built a community of smart, dedicated, funny and warm people from around the world sharing knowledge, jokes and cables/connectors, even between companies that usually are competitors.
Now on to the OJMHSFBK
(DJ safety’s Official Jammertest Mandatory Health and Safety Family Briefing Kit):
✂️ Never run with scissors!
🚗 Look both ways before crossing the street.
🔥 Don't play with matches.
👂 Never put anything smaller than your elbow in your ear.
☀️ Wear sunscreen.
🦺 Wear your high visibility clothing with pride.
Remember; Safety doesn't happen by accident.
On behalf of the crew I would like to extend a huge thank you to all of you who participated in this year’s Jammertest. I hope you all had a great week and got to stress test both your equipment and your diet to its breaking point.
You managed to consume about 780 liters of coffee, 10 000 waffle hears and 80 cakes. Those are impressive numbers indeed.
Speaking of coffee, waffles and cakes; huge thank you to the Andenes, Stave and Bleik community for welcoming us with unequaled warmth, and equally unequaled cake.
DJ safety, signing off
P.S.
If you accuse me of telling the same jokes again and again, I say; repair, reuse, recycle. I’m not funny enough to repair my jokes, so I will stick to reusing and recycling them.
